CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Cops are asking for the public's help to identify someone who they believe is connected to a fatal shooting on Dean Street.

Police released photos Saturday of a man connected to the July 24 homicide, when 17-year-old Jahiem Guinn was found shot in the head in front of the Weeksville Garden Houses on Dean Street.

Guinn, who livd in the Weeksville Garden Houses, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police said the man they are looking for is approximately 18 to 20 years old, stands about 5'8" tall, weighs about 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark colored shorts, white sneakers and a red t-shirt over his head.

They did not specify whether they believe the man in the photos is the shooter.

The shooting that killed Guinn was one of two fatal shootings in Crown Heights that night.

They are the latest in a shooting surge in the neighborhood as the officials face a citywide spike in gun violence.
