Dr. MaryNell Morgan-Brown discusses the life and work of W.E.B. Du Bois in his multiple roles as an educator and a scholar-activist. The audience will be encouraged to participate through questions and comments and through singing some of the "Sorrow Songs" in his most popular book, The Souls of Black Folk (1903).
