Ex-Con Stabbed Homeless Man Outside Bedford Armory, Cops Say
Rickie Drawhorn was charged with the murder Miguel Acosta outside the Bedford Armory in February, said police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police arrested an ex-con they believe stabbed a man to death outside a homeless shelter in the Bedford Union Armory.
Rickie Drawhorn, 38, was charged Thursday with murdering 21-year-old Miguel Acosta outside the Armory’s Men Shelter at 1322 Bedford Ave. on Feb. 25, police said.
Acosta, who lived in a shelter on Blake Avenue in East New York, was taken to Interfaith Medical Center where he later died, said police.

Drawhorn, of East Harlem, is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police sources told the New York Daily News that Drawhorn was sentenced to up to 16 years in prison for a violent robbery on New Year’s Eve in 1996, during which one person was shot in the face.
