Jessica Rowboat grew up in between hill stations and New Delhi in the north of India before coming to New York at 8 years old to watch as her parents and older brother pursued music. She attended LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts where she was trained in chamber music, gospel choir, jazz hands, theater, and song writing that tied them all together in a folky blend. She is fondest of deliberate disconcerting situations, washtub bass, wolverine, and Gouda cheese. She is not very fond of serious conversation. Jessica lives in Queens, New York with her husband and their shih tzu, Frodo.

He cut all ties in Virginia, put his things in a pickup, and moved to Brooklyn in 2012. He wrote and self‐produced three EPs upon arrival, and now he and Cheri are singing those songs together.
