9pm- Battery One Dollar
Genre: Acoustic gloomlodic folk
For fans of:  List bands that you sound like or if you like this band than they would like you

Battery One Dollar originated in the Bronx was once a band and now exist as the moniker of singer songwriter Danilo Parrales.  The songs are about chandeliers, amputees, dance, and other entities in between.  Battery One Dollar is currently working on a new album to be released on early May.

"The music and lyrics of Battery One Dollar almost instantly place you in the story setting of a society content with despair and hopelessness, told by a protagonist that is somewhat dysfunctional, alienated and yet above all brilliant, expressive, and HONEST. Its the story of “Ok, today I might die, but if I don’t, meh . . . there’s always tomorrow.” …and so on. This is the music you might expect to hear in the soundtrack to a Wes Anderson film at first, but just as the somber vocalising comes in, there is no dark comedy there- it’s just DARK, but in an oddly cheerful way." walktheplankmag.com
