8pm- The Lonesome Prairie Dogs
Genre: Country/ Rockabilly
For fans of: Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Waylon Jennings, The Cramps
Hailing for the most part from Jersey, The Lonesome Prairie Dogs play lean, no nonsense, garagey honky-tonk and rockabilly for denizens of the current century who liked the last one better. The LPDs play lotsa your Sun favorites, stripped down honky-tonk classics and originals in the same vein. They’ve opened for Junior Brown, did a gig at a prison upstate and even played in Nashville that one time. For ten years running, The LPDs have hosted the annual New years day Hank-O-Rama, a celebration of the music of Hank Williams on the anniversary of his death.
“Even if they weren’t a great band, this trio would still get the award for Best Dressed of the evening. Luckily, they’re kickass musicians as well,”- brooklyncountry.com

9pm- The Irresponsibles
Genre: Soul/Funk
For fans of: Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Amy Winehouse
Brooklyn soul fusing elements of funk and blues. Powerhouse female vocalist fronts a six-piece band featuring dual guitars and organ. Classic Motown beats serve as a launching pad to electric dance grooves and interstellar boogie.
10pm- The Fever
Genre: rock/punk/electro
Grinding Guitars, booming bass, hypnotic synths and throbbing drum beats. Mix in some lush, detached vocals, plenty of fuck-offishness and 8 bits of black tape for a stage outfit that redefines the concept of stripped down. Meet: The Fever, the hottest new post-rock duo to date. Based in Berlin, this infectious boy/girl combo delivers a genre-defying blend of Punk blues and Electro - raw, gritty, but always surprisingly pop. Dance music for the disenfranchised.
“Their sound lies somewhere between bluesrock, punk and new wave. They call themselves The Fever and infect you with their music” - RADIO M94.5
