Man Shot Dead In Brooklyn Lobby, Police Say

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A young man was shot dead inside an apartment building lobby near Prospect Park Thursday night, police said.

A 24-year-old man was shot in the back and a 23-year-old was slashed in the arm inside the lobby of 550 Ocean Ave. at about 10:35 p.m., police said.

Emergency responders rushed the 24-year-old to Kings County Hospital where he later died and the 23-year-old, in stable condition, to Maimonides Hospital, said police.

Police had made no arrests as of Friday morning.
