Man Shot on Subway Platform in Brooklyn: Police

Two males fled the scene after the alleged shooting, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A 22-year-old man was shot on the 3 Train subway platform just after midnight on Sunday, according to the NYPD.

The man told police he was shot for an “unknown reason” in the stomach at the Nostrand Avenue and Eastern Parkway station in Crown Heights while standing on the southbound side of the track.

Police said the victim was approached by two black males between the ages of 17 and 19.

CBS2 reported that the three men got into an argument while riding the Manhattan-bound 3 T rain, and that they all disembarked at the Nostrand Avenue stop in Crown Heights.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made.
