Community Corner

Parade Grounds + No Biggity + The Jacks of Kings County + TL Band @ The Way Station

8pm- Parade Grounds
Genre: AMERICANA
For fans of:  NEIL YOUNG, DELTA SPIRIT, BUDDY HOLLY

We're a group of close friends that like to play music together. We like to sing a lot, meet new people and other musicians. We play because we have a good time doing it and want others to share in that experience. We like to blend vocal harmony styles of 50's and 60's pop with the traditional storytelling and heartbreak of folk music.

"A self-titled release consisting of seven musical gems, the band is set on creating music that is raw with emotion and topped with an indie/folk sound" Indie Shuffle

10pm- The Jacks of Kings County
A Brooklyn-based country/americana/folk/rock band that will BLOW YOUR MIND with their original songs, tight arrangements, and angelic vocal harmonies.

11pm- TL Band
genre: Folkabilly/ Harmony Rock
for fans of: Fleet Foxes, Fleetwood Mac, First Aid Kit

"Brash, poetic, and gifted singer-songwriter with an electrifying stage-presence, empassioned lyrics, and an impressive vocal range."
-Philadelphia Weekly

Now infuse that with the lush, sultry vocal harmonies/percussion stylings of theater majors, Zac Gilbert & Jerielle Morwitz. Next, add some special sauce to the mix with the John Bonham-esque dynamics of Tami Johnson on drums (9 years w/T.L.)! Rounding out this tasty dish is fellow singer-songwriter Sarah Mucho (The Sometime Boys) on bass.  TLB plays mostly in the Tri-State area and you can hear demos that support their upcoming EP in Fall 2013.

"Tara Lynne Mallon, you are a sexy woman. What a voice. Reminiscent of early Heart, Joni Mitchell, and an angel, this lady can sing."
-Alan Pinkerton "Rockpile Magazine"
