PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Cardi B, Jaden Smith, Juice WRLD and Gunna are hanging out at the Brooklyn Museum.
Silver life-size sculptures of the world-famous rappers will be on display at the Brooklyn Museum this week to celebrate their induction into Spotify's RapCaviar Pantheon, the music streaming company announced.
The Brooklyn Museum on Eastern Parkway and Washington Avenue will host the statues, which play homage to the artists' "vibrant personalities" and the ancient Greek tradition of celebrating heroes with statues, from April 3 to April 7.

Cardi B sports a jewel-encrusted crown and holds a cellphone, which Spotify said is a nod to how the Grammy-winning artist "owned the cultural conversation" that allowed her influence to go beyond music.

The statue of Juice WRLD, who sits atop a globe, is a nod to Atlas, the Greek Titan who carried the world on his shoulders. This image is meant to evoke the vulnerability in his music, officials said.

Gunna, who has garnered a reputation in recent years as a rapper's rapper, holds a snake to represent the serpent iconography in his lyrics.

And Jaden Smith, Will Smith's son who went from child actor to rap artist, holds a severed, screaming head to represent the stoicism and anger in his music.

“Spotify is committed to supporting young, innovative artists who also have a positive impact on the music industry, culture, and society,” said Carl Chery, Spotify’s Hip-Hop curator and Head of RapCaviar.
“These four bold and fearless artists are striving to make changes with their music, and we’re thrilled to induct them into the program.”
