Police Seek Crown Heights Gunman

A 40-year-old man was shot in the chest early Tuesday morning by a man in a "Nation" sweatshirt, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN -- Police are looking for the gunman who shot another man in the chest early Tuesday morning.

A suspect shot the 40-year-old man near Maple Street and Albany Avenue at about 2 a.m., police said.

Emergency responders rushed the 40-year-old in critical condition to Kings County Hospital, according to police.

Police are now looking for the gunman, whom they describe as having a thin build and wearing a black hoodie with the word "Nation" inscribed on the front.
