Genre: Contemporary Folk/Acoustic
For fans of: Fiona Apple, Ani Difranco, Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan

With a sound like Joni Mitchell, Ani DiFranco, and Sarah McLachlan – primarily folk, with a bit of jazz and soul thrown in for good measure – Savannah King’s voice has been described by her fans and critics alike as “smokey” and “hauntingly beautiful.” Savannah entertains and rocks her audiences with poetic originals sure to grab anyones attention, and surprising covers such as War Pigs by Black Sabbath. A rising star on the contemporary folk music scene, Savannah has gained attention through her widely recognized "Alphabet Project", and second EP release 'She Sends Her Love'.

"With the success of The Alphabet Project . . . King's fame has gone from regional to inter nation, as folks from around the globe have been converted into diehard Savannah-heads."-John Hugar - Artvoice

”With a great collection of musical talent, musicians have had to get real creative in order to stand out—Savannah King is doing just that.”-Kathryn Przybyla - Buffalo.com

8pm- Martina Fiserova & Brian Charette
Genre: folk jazz
For fans of: Joni Mitchell, Lizz Wright, Kate Bush, Tracy Chapman

An experienced singer from Prague, Czech republic, performing her original music with a well renowned New York City Grammy nominated organist Brian Charette.

M.F.has been surrounded by musicians since the moment she was born. It took her many years to realize and accept the fact that she is becoming a musician herself. After a decade spent gaining experiences on the Prague Jazz Scene (from blues and fusion oriented bands to cooperations with international bands, backing up rockstars and diving into silence with music therapy), she decided to get her ass kicked by the New York City, especially due to her having a serious affair with the devilish Charette and his "reliably burning" chops.

“Her voice is graceful, and her phrasing and delivery are right on tempo.” - James Nadal, All About Jazz

“Her biography is impressive. (...) Jazz pop? Folk jazz? Either way it's cool, and if this is the sort of stuff she is capable of writing then I hope there is more on the way.” - Tony Emmerson, Prague Jazz Blogspot

Genre: Pop/afro-pop/rock
For fans of: Vampire Weekend, Tom Tom Club, Afro-Pop

The first lineup of Fancy Shapes banded together with a goal of melding happy guitars and playful lyrics to island grooves. In 2011 singer Amanda McPherson signed on and the New York band solidified their sound, adding horns (trumpet and trombone).  The percolating party band gearing up to record a follow up to the smash hit CD, Fun City.

“The band’s distinct blend of indie rock, afro-pop and highly danceable urban angst has been compared to everyone from Vampire Weekend to Tom Tom Club.”- All Music Guide

“The Fancy Shapes come down hard on the "beat" side of Afrobeat. The disc in question is Fun City, and you will dance.”- Mark Schwartz - Barnes & Noble
