8pm- Scott Forbes
Genre: Singer Songwriter/Acoustic Rock
For fans of: Zac Brown, Shawn Mullins, Ed Robertson, Steven Page
Scott Forbes with his acoustic guitar is an indie rock story teller who resides in central Florida, many miles from his hometown of Westfield in western NY. His songs are stories about life, love, and heartache, painted through sound with his unique voice and acoustic guitar. Scott performed almost nightly while working full time and raising a family from 1999-2005, and eventually became burnt out and frustrated playing for anyone who would listen so he walked away from music. Although away from the stage, all the while he continued to write and hone his craft on the guitar and in June 2012 he returned to play his music, write new songs, and live in the moment through music. He is a member of Songwriters Showcases of America, International Songwriters Guild and BMI.
