Sound and Space is a day-long participatory musical event created by composer Drake Andersen. Visitors collaborate by listening, moving and improvising with an interactive electronic drone. Upon entering, visitors' movement and sounds are captured by microphones and motion sensors, resulting in audible changes in the site-specific sound environment. Unique graphic scores by composer Viola Yip will be placed throughout the space as guides to improvisation and markers for different sound fields and sensor zones.
