Towel Day: The annual celebration of the life and work of Douglas Adams
Drink specials: Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster and a Gin and Tonix

Towel Day is an annual celebration on the 25th of May, as a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001). On that day, fans around the universe proudly carry a towel in his honor. To honor this swell guy who knows where his towel is, New York members of the ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha Douglas Adams Appreciation Society, are hosting an event with a screening of the 1981 BBC series "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

4pm: Moving Pictures: Hand-picked entertainment on the big screen each Sunday evening at the Way Station.  Always new Doctor Who when it's in season, and often paired with something appropriate (a classic episode featuring the same villain, prior episodes of character's story arc, etc).  Off-season it's favorite episodes from past years, or other tv shows & films, often falling into the sci-fi or British comedy genres.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

How many roads must a man walk down? How many times does Marvin get depressed in a given day? How many drinks do you need before Humma Kavula starts to look good? Bring your towel and join us on Towel Day to figure out the Ultimate Question while we watch The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

7:30pm- World is Square
Join us for the Video Game Cover Band The World is Square. Traveling down from the Boston Area for the night they will perform songs from popular titles like Final Fantasy using a variety of unorthodox instruments. They are not a typical "rock" set-up, and have received a lot of positive attention because of this. They just released their first full length that you can listen for free on our Bandcamp. The sound is very laid-back and friendly.
