Woman Struck, Trapped Under USPS Van On NYC Street: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — A 94-year-old woman was apparently struck by a United States Postal Service van as she crossed the street in Queens Sunday evening.
The incident happened as the woman walking in the crosswalk at Broadway and 48th Street around 5:30 p.m., police said.
According to surveillance video obtained by the New York Post, the van driver struck and ran over the woman — who became trapped under the vehicle.

The woman was transported to Elmhurst Hospital and is in critical but stable condition, police said Monday.
The USPS driver remained at the scene and no charges have been filed.
