Police: Woman Arrested After Trying to Fill Fake Prescription at Riverhead Pharmacy
The arrest was made on Tuesday.

A Hauppauge woman was arrested for altering a prescription for a controlled substance and trying to have it filled at a Riverhead pharmacy on Tuesday afternoon, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Riverhead Police responded to Barth’s Pharmacy at 32 East Main Street shortly before 5 p.m. after receiving a report of a customer possibly in possession of a forged prescription, police said.
Police found that Crystal Cody, 33, had in fact altered a prescription and attempted to have it filled at the pharmacy, police said.

Cody was placed under arrest for second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and transported to Riverhead Police Department where she was held for morning arraignment, police said.
