SPOTLIGHT ON TRAVIS BLAIR (H'11)
Hastings graduate Travis Blair, who now plays for Wheaton College in Mass., is one of only two freshmen to earn NEWMAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Team Honors.
He tied for the top spot for most goals, with four, and points, with nine, in conference play. He scored a pair of goals at Coast Guard and against M.I.T.— including the game winners in both matches—and completed his freshman campaign with 22 points (9-4-22) in 18 matches.

The Lyons of Wheaton completed the 2011 season 9-8-2 (4-2-0 NEWMAC) and suffered a 2-1 loss to eventual Conference Champion, Springfield, in the semi-finals.

Hosting Pitt-Bradford on the 22nd, Parris Purcelle and the Buffalo State Bengals' five won, 94-50, with Purcelle having 1 basket and a block in the rout.
With Goldey-Beacon at home on the 22nd, Riley Harrington (Irvington 10) and the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons lost 66-64; Harrington had 1 trey, a field goal, 5 blocks, and 2 assists in the win.
Tara Gabelman (Irvington '10) and the Ct. College Camels played host to Worcester Tech on the 22nd—toppling their opponents as the power forward 16 points on 5-11 from the floor , a perfect 6-6 at the foul line, was team high with 7 rebounds, and 1 assist in the victory.
Hosting Southern Vermont the 22nd—the team against whom the Skidmore Throughbreds played the longest game in Division III history last year—Kevin Dahill (DF '10) and his hoops team out-scored the Mountaineers, 91-57; Dahill had 6 points on 3 buckets, plus 2 blocks and 2 assists in the win.
