CT Woman Drove Drunk, Resisted Arrest: NYSP
Troopers said the woman refused to provide a breath sample.
GREENBURGH, NY — A Connecticut woman was accused of drunken driving and resisting arrest after being stopped on the interstate Greenburgh.
The New York State Police said, around 9 p.m. Saturday, troopers saw a car parked on the left shoulder, and partially blocking the left lane, on Interstate 287 in the town of Greenburgh.
Police said they talked with the driver — Chelsea Groglio, 31, of East Hartford, Connecticut — and found her to be intoxicated.

Before she was taken into custody, police said, she "actively resisted" being arrested.
Troopers eventually took arrested her and took her to the Tarrytown barracks where she refused to provide a breath sample.

Groglio was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, all misdemeanors.
She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court April 22.
