Halpin Legends' top goal-scorer in ice hockey: Rivertowns Daily Sports Digest, Jan. 12

Legends' stat leaders

Sleepy Hollow/Irvington ice-hockey player Kevin Halpin continues to set the pace for the Legends in scoring as he has tallied a team-high 10 goals and 13 points. 

The Legends top assist man so far has been Brett Pesce, who has assisted on five goals.

In goal, Matt Inglas leads the way with 202 saves.

Irvington girls tops in Class B

The girls basketball squad has been playing oustanding so far this winter and have been recognized for that by being ranked as the No. 1 Class B team in the latest LoHud Girls Basketball Blog rankings.

Dobbs Ferry has also impressed and just missed making the rankings.

Irvington gets pins

Manuel Figueroa at 152 pounds, Brett Pastore at 170 pounds and Kevin Degnan at 195 pounds all recorded pins in Irvington's 48-36 loss at Harrison Jan. 10.
