Children's Village wins
Led by 15 points from Kareem Padgett and 13 by Anthony Trotter, Children's Village defeated host Solomon Schechter 49-33 Jan. 23 in boys basketball.

SWIMMING
Colgate, in a home meet with Bucknell on the 11th, lost to the Bisons, 205-85 , as Tavy Smith (D.F. '10) competed in four races, as his 200 Medley Relay foursome finished 5th in their event, timed at 3:41.39, while in the 100 Breastsroke , he was 6th , clocked at 1:03.25.
In the 200 Breaststroke , his 4th place finish was timed at 2:20.56, and in the 200 Individual Medley, his time of 2:09.47 gave him 7th place. Hosting Cornell on the 14th, in the 197.5-99.5 defeat Smith's 200 Medley Relay quartet were 5th, in 1:42.34, while in the 100 Breaststroke, he was 4th, clocked at 1:02.92, and his time of 2:20.14 gave him 3rd place in the 200 Breaststroke.
In another home meet on the 15th, a 177-121 loss , he and his foursome finished 2nd, in 1:39.78, while he was 4th in the 100 Breast, timed at 1:03.11, followed Smith's 5th place finish in the 200 Breast, with a clcking of 2:19.32. The team's record thus far is 1-5.
