The women's basketball team fell to UMass-Lowell today (Jan. 16), 96-73. Senior Jasmine Williams scored a career-high 34 points and added 13 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season and senior Simone Williams dished out seven assists, which may push her into the top 5 in the nation when stats are released tomorrow.

SWIMMING
Oswego's Katie Flood (Hastings '10) , in a meet at Potsdam on the 14th , had an outstanding day , being on the winning 200 Medley Relay quartet that copped the race in 1:56.44. She won the 200 Freestyle in 2:04.93 , and then also won the 100 Freestyle , clocked at 57.00.
Although finishing first in the 200 Individual Medley , in 2:21.50 , she lost the event on a disqualification. Her two individual wins , plus that of the relay foursome , accounted for 29 of the Lakers' points in the women's 143-123 victory over their conference rivals.
Irvington girls No. 1 in Class B
