Memorial Day Events in the Rivertowns

Times and locations of Memorial Day events in the Rivertowns.

Despite other local municipalities' decision to cancel parades this year,  Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington and Dobbs Ferry have exciting events planned in observance of Memorial Day.

The Memorial Day Services in Irvington will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 31 at the War Memorials on Main Street.  Before the procession, Congresswoman Nita Lowey will deliver a speech.

"I look forward to joining friends and neighbors in Irvington on Memorial Day to honor the brave men and women who served our country," Lowey said.  "We owe a debt of gratitude to those who placed themselves in harm's way for our nation, and the parade and ceremony in Irvington will be a great place to show our thanks."
