Dobbs Ferry one win away from the Carrier Dome
Dobbs Ferry's football squad will be looking to get to the state Class C championship game in the Carrier Dome in Syracuse Thanksgiving weekend.

To do that, it will have to defeat Hoosick Falls at Dietz Stadium in Kingston at 11 a.m. Nov. 19 in a state semifinal.

Winter teams get started this week
If you are wondering why there has been a buzz in the air this week, it's because the Dobbs Ferry, Hastings and Irvington High School varsity and JV winter teams all began practice (except for ice hockey, which began Nov. 7) on Nov. 14 for their upcoming winter seasons.
Senior shines in loss for Mercy College
Mercy College junior guard Colin Senior scored 19 points in Mercy's 81-70 loss in men's basketball at Caldwell College on Nov. 16.
