Tonight (Feb. 1), the men’s basketball team triumphed over East Coast Conference-rival Molloy College, 72-63, in a sold-out Mercy Gymnasium. Colin Senior and Joseph Pope led the Mavericks by scoring 24 and 23 points, respectively.

Mercy women's hoops
The Mercy College women's basketball team fell to ECC opponent Molloy tonight (Feb. 1), 93-73. Senior Simone Williams led the team with 17 points and senior Talia Beaulieu fell just shy of a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Boys hoop results
Dobbs Ferry defeated visiting Yonkers 47-28 and Hastings nipped host Irvington 41-38 Jan. 31.
