It always helps going into the new calendar year coming off winning a tournament and that is the case for the boys basketball squad.

Scaperrotta earns Golden Dozen
John Yozzo-Scaperrotta of Dobbs Ferry not only helped the Eagles to a state title this fall in football, he also got the job done in the classroom at a high level.
For that, he was honored by making the “Golden Dozen” scholar-athlete team, a team that is chosen by the Westchester Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
Irvington's Bennett honorable mention
Irvington's Alex Bennett is also a superstar in the classroom, as he was chosen by the foundation for its honorable-mention squad.
