The Mercy College women's basketball team defeated Queens College, 73-48, today (Jan. 14) for the Mavericks' first ECC victory of the season. Senior Simone Williams led the squad with 16 points and added six rebounds, eight assists and four steals in a stellar all-around game.

Spotlight on: Oneonta
At Oneonta on Jan. 10, in the outstanding performance of his collegiate career, Junghoon Roh (Dobbs Ferry '08) led Plattsburgh's 71-60 win, with a game-high total of 19 points. Hastings High School's Albie Skrelji ('09) also had action in the game for Oneonta.
Senior leads Mercy men
Below is the release for this afternoon’s (Jan. 14) men’s basketball sparring against East Coast Conference-opponent Queens College. Queens won, 85-77.
Mercy junior guard Colin Senior (Hackensack, N.J.) posted 23 points, while junior forward Joseph Pope (Akron, Ohio) added 18.

Martins gets to 1,000
The Irvington girls basketball squad continues to rack up the milestones as Lexi Martins scored her 1,000-career point in the Bulldogs' 76-47 win at Dobbs Ferry Jan. 13.
