Man swallowed 2 pounds of cocaine, officials said.

A man faces charges after smuggling dozens of pellets full of cocaine inside his body on April 19, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Tuesday.

Gyan Morgan, of Jamaica, arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport from on a flight from Kingston and appeared nervous during his inspection, officials said.

Morgan was escorted to a private search room where a physical search was conducted, Customs said. Despite officers finding no trace of drugs on his person, they said they noted several inconsistencies in his story.
