Rockville Centre Police: DWI Arrest, $22K Console Stolen from Lexus

RVCPD reports on recent crimes in the neighborhood.

Rockville Centre Police reported the following information. Charges are accusations and do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Jan. 3: Jonathan Exorphe, 23, of West Hempstead, charged with disorderly conduct on Sunrise Highway.
  • Jan. 3: Nicholas Diamond, 26, of Baldwin, and Lauren Ryan, 24, of Oceanside, each charged with second-degree robbery on Sunrise Highway.
  • Jan. 6: Melissa Pierre, 21, of Hempstead, charged with DWI at Sunrise Highway and Long Beach Road.

Larceny

  • Dec. 29: Hewlett resident said her brother’s car was damaged the week before on North Long Beach Road.
  • Dec. 30: West Hempstead resident reported losing his wallet on Sunrise Highway.
  • Dec. 31: Arlington Avenue resident reported the passenger side quarter panel of Jeep was damaged while parked at Municipal Lot #3.
  • Jan. 1: Maple Avenue resident reported losing a wallet on Merrick Road.
  • Jan. 2: Argyle Place resident said unknown person opened two credit card accounts using his personal information.
  • Jan. 5: South Forest Avenue resident reported a wallet containing $250 was stolen in a Rockville Centre doctor’s office.
  • Jan. 6: Lexus general manager said an unknown person broke a fence valued at $500 and stole a navigation/heat console valued at $22,442.71 from parked car in used car lot.
