• Woman arrested on DWI charge in Rome (newportdispatch.com) — A Rome woman was arrested after allegedly driving into a ditch on Rome-Taberg Road and then trying to flee on foot, leading to a felony DWI charge. Deputies say she was also driving with a revoked license and now faces multiple traffic-related charges while being held in Oneida County Jail for arraignment.
   

• Man arrested on domestic charges in Rome (newportdispatch.com) — Rome police have charged a Utica man after a weeklong domestic situation on North Madison Street in which a woman was allegedly confined, assaulted, and had her phone taken. After the victim escaped to a neighbor's home to call for help, authorities arrested the suspect, who now faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges pending arraignment.
