3. JazzFest White Plains Returns Next Week for Five Days of Incredible Live Music (nslifestyles.com) — A Rye-based big-band ensemble, the Sound Shore Jazz Orchestra, will help kick off JazzFest White Plains next week with a free outdoor show at Turnure Park. Over five days, the festival will bring 19 performances—many free—to downtown White Plains, giving Rye residents an easy chance to hear GRAMMY-recognized artists, join jam sessions, and enjoy Sunday's all-day street jazz celebration.
   

4. Rye Moves to 5-0 After Gritty Win over Suffern (myrye.com) — Rye High's boys soccer team pushed its record to 5-0 with a gritty 2-1 road win over Suffern, capped by a late set-piece goal. Strong midfield play and defense anchored the victory. The Garnets next host Walter Panas at Nugent Stadium on Tuesday, September 22, at 7 p.m.
   

5. Film and Television Production in Westchester Drives $1.85 Billion in Economic Impact in 2025 (riverjournalonline.com) — Westchester's booming film and TV industry generated $1.85 billion in economic impact last year, with productions regularly filming in communities including Rye. A recurring Apple TV+ series and several major shows and films have used Rye and nearby towns as locations, supporting thousands of jobs, hotel stays, and local vendors as the county courts even more production work.
