Renovation Tour of Rye HS Tonight

There will be a tour tonight to explain proposed renovations at Rye High School before tomorrow's open forum.

Anyone interested in learning more details about the proposed renovation plan at Rye High School can stop by the school library at 7 p.m. tonight for tours led by the superintendent Dr. Edward Shine and other school administrators.

The project architects will also be on site to answer questions about the proposed expansion plan.

At a recent Rye City Council meeting, board president Laura Slack said the high school is currently operating at 103 percent of its enrollment capacity. The expansion project would add classrooms, science labs, a field house, and reconfigure administrative space.
