Photo Gallery: Rye High School Graduation

Hundreds of parents, friends and relatives gathered on the bleachers for this morning's graduation ceremony at Rye High School, the school's 80th commencement.

Speakers included interim principal Dr. Jay Smith, superintendent Dr. Ed Shine and school board president Joshua Nathan.

The highlights were student addresses from valedictorian Jasmine Woort-Menker, salutatorian Stephanie Alimena and Sam Dorn, winner of the oration competition.

Class president Matt McKeown announced that the class would fund an annual scholarship through 2022 as its parting gift to Rye High School.
