14 YEARS LATER - 9-11 MURAL ON DISPLAY
“Soaring Spirits at Ground Zero” a 5’ x 6’ mural created by local artist June Long-Schuman in honor of the victims who perished on September 11, 2001, will be on display at the Sachem Public Library in Holbrook, NY through August 31, 2015. The group show also includes June’s beautiful serene plein air landscapes as well as paintings by the “Free Spirit Plein Air Painters” of LI. They are a group of fellow local artists who come together to capture the beauty of Long Island’s pristine landscapes and historical sites. The artists include; Sue Korpus Ditkowsky, Joan Sicignano, Ellen Winter and Rose Anne Albanese.
