- Police looking for man connected to 2 Lake Ronkonkoma break-ins. "He is described as being in his mid-30s with a thin build, and as having dark hair and a beard. He also has tattoos on his right forearm, according to police." (Sachem Patch)
- 6 hurt, 1 in critical condition after U-turn crash in Ronkonkoma over the weekend. "A Toyota sedan was parked facing on the shoulder on Ocean Avenue, near Peconic Street, around 8:45 p.m. Sunday when it tried to make a U-turn, Suffolk County police said. As it turned, it was struck by a northbound Jeep Wrangler." The 19-year-old Toyota driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition. (Sachem Patch)
