2 Injured In West Sayville Boat Fire
The blaze spread to two boats at Green's Creek Marina on Sunday afternoon.
WEST SAYVILLE, NY — Two people were injured in a boat fire in West Sayville on Sunday afternoon, according to the West Sayville Fire Department. The blaze was reported at Green's Creek Marina on Atlantic Avenue at about 4:08 p.m
Arriving firefighters found that two boats were heavily involved in fire and were able to stop it from spreading to other boats. In addition, firefighters were able to control the fire in the tree area behind the boats.
Two minor injuries were reported. The crews quickly got the fire under control then worked to overhaul the boat with the main fire. The Sayville Fire Department responded to assist.

Suffolk Police are investigating the fire. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
