6 Hurt in Holbrook Crash

Six people were taken to the hospital following a three-car crash in Holbrook Monday evening.

The Ronkonkoma Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident, which included an overturned Jeep, at the intersection of Patchogue-Holbrook Road and Express Drive North at about 6:15 p.m.

Chief Jon Santoli was the first commanding chief on scene and he advised incoming units that all of the victims were able to free themselves from the vehicles.

The crews of Rescue 8 and Squad 6 secured the vehicles and all four of the fire department‘s ambulances were used to transport six people to Stony Brook University Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
