Colorful Campaign to Increase Awareness at Academy Elementary
Studens wear mismatched socks in honor of World Down Syndrome Awareness Day.

Academy Elementary School students and staff members recently donned colorful mismatched socks in honor of World Down Syndrome Awareness Day to show their support for those with Down syndrome.
The mismatched footwear was a symbol that even though people are different, they should be accepted and their differences celebrated.
