Long Island Student Possessed 90 Packets of Heroin: Police
The 18-year-old was arrested at Connetquot High School on Wednesday.

BOHEMIA, NY- A Connetquot High School student had nearly 100 packets of heroin in his possession when he was arrested Wednesday, police say.
Authorities were notified by school officials that a student was in possession of drugs and they subsequently arrested Matthew Stambler, 18, of Bohemia at approximately 11:46 a.m.
Stambler was found to have a quantity of 90 packets of heroin in his possession. He also was in possession of $900 cash and two cell phones, News 12 reports.

He was charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug.
Bail for Stambler was not posted. It was set at $75,000 bond and $30,000 cash.
