FREE CONCERT: The Bay Area Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Richard Wright, director, and the Bay Area Chorus, Martha Campanile, choral director, present the first concert of BAFFA's 43rd season beginning at 7:30 PM at the Bayport-Blue Point High School Auditorium. Entitled "Music Be Praised" , the program will include selections by Beethoven, Bach, Brahms and Gabrieli. Admission is free although donations are gratefully appreciated. Refreshments served.
Both the orchestra and chorus are comprised of approximately 50 members each who rehearse weekly at the James Wilson Young Jr. High School. Musically trained members of all ages are welcome to become members of the orchestra and chorus. Several concerts are presented throughout the year from November to June.
