The evenings of August 11 and 12, the Sayville Young People's Opera Workshop will present abridged performances of Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante's new dramatic opera Notre Dame de Paris and Pietro Mascagni's classic dramatic opera Cavalleria Rusticana. These two challenging works will be performed in the air-conditioned David Jones Auditorium at the Sayville Middle School by 22 young singers and actors ranging in age from 13 to 25 from all over Suffolk County.
