Long Island Pastor & His Family Removed From Worship Service

9/28/22 - Michael Miano, pastor of The Blue Point Bible Church, and his family were escorted out of the worship service at Hope Reformed Baptist Church, in Coram, New York, this past Sunday. The Leadership Committee of The Blue Point Bible Church declared Sun., Sept. 25th as “Visit Another Church Sunday” and encouraged the congregation to visit other local churches to learn and discern different aspects of worship and preaching. It’s been reported that no other members as of yet had an incident at a local congregation quite like Pastor Miano did.

A Facebook posting detailing what happened to Pastor Miano, included dismay from many, as well as some responses from the Hope Reformed Baptist Church Facebook page and serving pastors. It would appear that since Pastor Michael Miano not only believes but teaches doctrines contrary to Hope Reformed Baptist Church, his presence, along with his wife and 5 year old step-son, was not welcome. A tap on the shoulder toward the latter end of the worship service, as he was sitting and listening to the sermon coming to a close, was followed by a pastor of the church explaining to Pastor Miano that he was being removed from the assembly and further remarks were made. Also, it would seem that following this, an explanation was given to the congregation regarding the removal of Pastor Miano and his family from the assembly.
