New Ownership for Berry Fresh Yogurt Stores

The Berry Fresh frozen yogurt stores in Sayville and Bayport are now under new ownership as founder Craig Fleisher has sold them to Joe Iallaci.

The first location, in the 7-Eleven shopping center in Bayport, opened in March, 2012. Fleisher then expanded into Sayville, taking the former Country Rotisserie storefront in the Stop and Shop center, and opening that store six months later.

A call to Iallaci regarding his plans for the stores had not yet been returned as of press time.

Fleisher told Patch he is busy getting ready to open three new Fresh Berry stores this year on Long Island.

"It's a very exciting time for the company right now," he told Patch in an email.
