
Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Sayville gas station on Thursday night.
The robbery occurred at the station connected to Michaelās Auto Repair at the corner of Middle Road and Foster Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police say a man armed with a black handgun fled the scene with cash.

The robber was dressed in a black jacket, black pants and a black hoodie, police said. He was also wearing a black ski mask.
Nearby, a Holbrook gas station was also robbed at gunpoint last Saturday.
