Police Seek Man Who Stole Tip Jar From Pizzeria

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole money from a tip jar at a pizzeria in Shirley in April.

A man entered Savarona’s Pizza on 999 Montauk Highway, on April 18 and stole cash from the tip jar, police said.

The man had a medium build and was wearing tan-colored work boots, dark-colored jeans, a black long-sleeve shirt and a dark knit cap, according to police.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
