Police Seeking Man Who Used Stolen Credit Card

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person pictured above who they say used a stolen credit card to purchase a video game in Shirley earlier this month.

According to police, the man entered GameStop, located at 999 Montauk Highway, on Aug. 16 at about 7:45 p.m. and used the stolen card to purchase Grand Theft Auto. The man was described as white, thin, approximately 6 feet tall and in his mid-20s. He was wearing a tan hooded-sweatshirt, shorts and sneakers at the time, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
