The Connetquot Public Library will host a special presentation on Monday, January 11 from 7:00-8:30pm. This course, originally designed to teach police officers how to diffuse potentially violent situations is valuable in the home, business or social interactions and will enable you to use language and presence to calm difficult people, redirect the behavior of others, and achieve the desired outcome of any verbal exchange or conversation.
