time table when construction should be complete on W Hartsdale Ave
UPDATE WEST HARTSDALE AVE CONSTRUCTION DRAINAGE
Dear neighbor
During the past year or two residents have complained about leaky water on W Hartsdale Avenue -causing icing conditions. West Hartsdale Ave is a NYS road. There have been some traffic delays due to the construction work. Some residents have contacted me asking for an update. The following was received from the NYS Department of Transportation. Sorry for any inconvenience. The good news: The drainage issues on W Hartsdale Ave will be addressed in the coming weeks.

Good Afternoon,

We began installing the new structures at the north end (east side) last week. The contractor expects to have these two structures in, the curb restored and paved by the end of the day tomorrow. They will then begin installing the structures and drainage pipes beginning at the south end. (west side). It will likely take most of next week or more to complete the drainage on the east side. We would then have to install the roadway cross weeps. So likely at least 3 weeks until completion of drainage work. We will likely be waiting until April to complete the paving of mainline.
As you know construction scheduling this time of year is driven by the weather. The timeframes listed above are approximate and can fluctuate a great deal if we get frequent storms or significant snowbanks.
