4 Arrested In Shirley Drug Bust: Police

Officers found heroin, marijuana, an assault rifle, a shot gun and more during the bust on Thursday, police say.

SHIRLEY, NY - Four people were arrested after a drug bust in Shirley on Thursday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

Following an investigation in response to neighborhood complaints, detectives executed a search warrant at a Sleepy Hollow Drive home at 6 a.m., police said.

Officerfs seized heroin, cocaine, marijuana, a loaded AK-47 assault rifle, a loaded Mossberg 12 gauge pistol grip shotgun, assorted ammunition, a kilo press, scales, packaging, cell phones, a video surveillance system and $705, police said.

As a result, the four residents of the home were arrested including: 30-year-old Errol Allen, 26-year-old Jalesa Woods, 24-year-old Sophia Karger, and 25-year-old Robert Guilfoil, police said.

Allen was charged with three counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of second degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Woods was charged with three counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of second degree criminal use drug paraphernalia and a bench warrant.

Karger was charged with two counts third degree criminal Sale of a controlled substance and a bench warrant.

Guilfoil was charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

All four are scheduled for arraignment on Friday.

Officials from the Town of Brookhaven responded and condemned the residence.
