Suspect Robbed Subway In Suffolk, Other Stores At Knifepoint: Police

One attempt failed at Dunkin' in Ridge, while others she bolted with some cash, police said.

RIDGE, NY — A woman robbed multiple local stores, including Dunkin' in Ridge, Subway in Shirley, and Carvel in Rocky Point, since December, Suffolk police said.

A woman entered Dunkin’ on Middle Country Road in Ridge on Dec. 18 just after noon and demanded cash, police said, adding that an employee refused and she bolted empty-handed.

The same woman entered Subway on Montauk Highway in Shirley on Dec. 18 at around 12:20 p.m., waved a knife, and demanded cash, but left with some cash, police said. She went inside Carvel on Route 25A in Rocky Point on Jan. 9 at around 9:10 p.m., waiving a knife, and made off with some cash, according to police.

Detectives believe the same woman also robbed Speedway on Route 112 in Coram, at around 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 12, displaying "what appeared to be a knife."

The woman can be seen in surveillance video wearing a dark hat, dark-colored jacket, blue pants, and white sneakers.

Further details were not released by police.

Suffolk Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
